Delightful! Exhale. Inhale. Thank you for your wonderful words and appreciation.
I have an 8th grader who is ‘sharp tongued’ toward staff when in certain friends’ presence or when feeling threatened by teachers/administrators. This student is a pure delight in my class and so thoughtful—often asking how I am or how I experienced something. It’s quite remarkable really and so delightful. It doesn’t escape me that all he needs and wants is someone to show care and connection.
Reading to children is magical for both the children and the reader.
This is lovely.
My favorite time of the day was read aloud. I get to relive that this week with my grandson as we start Overruled!
